Face to face time talking with other people seems strangely scant in today’s super-connected world.
If you live in Sydney or can be in Rushcutters Bay at 5pm, Friday 27 February you have a real-time opportunity to attend an artist talk with Melbourne artist and designer Damien Wright. If you have ever met or spoken to Damien, you will know that he is an engaging speaker who has powerful convictions.
Damien will share the story behind his process and working with the extraordinary medium of 10,000-year-old ancient redgum, as well as the collaborations that have influenced his practice, including those with Bonhula Yunupingu and jeweller, Katherine Bowman.
