Miles Lush's Recycled Timber Dining Table

Comments Comments

Miles Lush wanted to create a dining table from recycled materials. He sourced the materials by working for a local farmer during his school holidays. As payment for his work the farmer was happy for Miles to pull down some old cattle yards for the ironbark rails.

He did not have to spend significant amounts of money on new materials and he wanted to benefit the environment by using recycled materials. Making the table shown was a labour of love, and also his major project for year 12 industrial technology at St Mary's College, Gunnedah, NSW. His teacher is Oliver Neader.

Entered in Wood Review's Student Awards 2018. See more photos of Miles's entry here
