Krenov at 100

Had he been alive, the highly revered James Krenov would have just celebrated his 100th birthday. It would be hard to name another woodworker who has had such a powerful influence on modern day makers and lovers of fine woodworking.

Krenov’s cabinets-on-stand were his signature furniture form and in fact ‘Krenovian’ and ‘Krenov cabinet’ have become generic terms. As a commemoration, The Krenov Foundation is hosting a virtual JK100 exhibition on their website. Clicking on each of the images shown at this link will access information, video and text.
