Zed-Table "Keep it simple and combine physics with aesthetics" - that's what was in my mind when I planned and made this Zed-Table with my son. It was meant to be a test piece before making the 'proper one', to ensure our satisfaction with the dimensions and angles. Nevertheless, we used one of my favourite local timbers, Celery Top Pine, to complement the experiment. The result: The angles worked nicely and the timber is warm and silky, finished with Cabots Satin Clear. No tricky joinery here, but some nice geometric shapes and angles that complement the overall aesthetic. I may experiment with this concept again in the future with upscaled dimensions.
