Comfort at any seating angle. Command the room. Impress. This is the design philosophy of the Wings armchair. Fully designed and created as my final master project studying at Williams & Cleal Furniture School in the first half of 2025. Made from solid American black walnut with custom velvet upholstery, the piece draws inspiration from Art Nouveau with a modern twist. The armrests are hand shaped with a variety of tools to get perfectly flowing lines and the openings in the backrest reflect the contour of the legs to reinforce harmony. The wide seat cushion allows for a variety of seating positions and the comfortably rounded armrests even work as a low backrest for the 'diagonally inclined'.
