Intarsia Werewolf. This project was inspired by the difficult aspect of getting the female face to reflect the beauty and the aggression, fierce look of the wolf. The saliva from the wolf is clear acrylic sanded on the back to produce the look of thick saliva. This project took me approximately two and a half months to complete. The unique timbers used are: Lady's flesh - European Maple, her hair - Zebrano (african timber), the main body of the wolf is Merbu. Her eye brow and lashes are ebony Note the large wolf tooth in her mouth. She is transcending into a wolf because she is still dressed.
