Between shape and shadow, a ritual unfolds. This turned carcass, shaped from a 200-year-old fallen olive tree, will rest in my hail room — a space of quiet reverence — for the rest of my life. Inspired by the essence of the Chinese tea ceremony: presence, emptiness, and the space between. This cabinet holds more than teaware — it holds a way of being.
