“Top of the World” symbolises the ever spinning of our earth, like a top. It also reflects the pinnacle of human achievement in science, medicine and technology, ahead of any other living species on earth. Yet, this progress comes at a cost. Our dependence on fossil fuels, excessive use of plastics, monoculture farming and surging population growth have contributed to the unbalanced state of our earth. Still, life still goes on, the planet keeps turning, but its fate will be shaped by the choices we make now. A suspended occasional table in teak, featuring four removable quadrant box drawers with Tamo ash veneered fronts and brass pulls. The coopered cabinet doors are fitted with brass hinges and sculpted pulls. This piece is suspended by steel wire with an ebony end cap. Dimensions: 40 x 40 x 44cm
