Timeline is here. Interactive Art by Stephen Hean. I was once told... “Draw a line on a piece of paper. The beginning is birth and the end is death (0-80 years) ;and to put a line where you are” Made from NZ Elm that was milled on my neighbours property. This tree was saved from the firewood pile and went on to become many loved items of furniture. Timeline being only one of them This unique slab was an odd shape so the challenge was to find a use for it. Timeline allows the user to slide the marker anywhere along the line. Dovetailed in the marker is made from purple heart timber creating a strong contrast but also symbolizes our own heart and life.
