A coffee table with aesthetics and function as the primary focuses. A bespoke table design was created through the utilisation of jarrah and Victorian ash timber, to create a skeleton web framework covering a corner of a large usable coffee table. I really like making things that are a bit abstract and different, and push my abilities as a woodworker, so I made a collage of unique and interesting tables with different designs. I found a table with the centre cut out and replaced that with a weave-like pattern, letting the web "grow" down the side of the table as if it had eaten away at the original box, leaving the skeleton outline behind.
