This Scandinavian desk, crafted from American Walnut and Rock Maple, embodies a simplistic yet highly refined design. Functionality is elevated with the inclusion of Blum under-mount soft-close drawer runners, ensuring smooth and durable operation. The piece showcases exceptional craftsmanship, featuring 12 hand-cut dovetails, 2 half-blind dovetails, angled bridle joints, double-pinned mortise and tenons, as well as housing, widening, and halving joints. Each element has been meticulously constructed, with the precision of the drawer joinery particularly standing out. The desk is sanded to a high quality and treated with Osmo Clear Satin hard wax oil, highlighting the natural beauty of the timber while ensuring lasting protection.
