Shaun King, Sassafras and Blackwood Jewellery Box (BOWLS, BOXES 2022)

This jewellery box has been designed to carry 18 rings and freely hold your favourite pieces of jewellery. It measures 298mm in length, 228mm wide at the stand, and 105mm tall. Blackwood curved stand and Blackwood trim to divide the sassafras lid from the base. The rich Blackwood was left over from my parents' oven surround in their kitchen and the sassafras came from leftover material used on a vanity bench top. Finished in Australian made beeswax and felt lined for the soft touch. The butterflies were purchased and added at my daughter’s request.
