Sassafras root system. Salvaged from a creek bed in the central highlands of Tasmania. The grey mass was restored with hand tools to reveal the underlying hidden beauty. Note how the roots have naturally grown into each other and also around the rock in the centre. Measures 1700 x 800 mm.
