The Lithuanian National Football Ball, made from oak, was created with great love and respect for traditions. Its patterns echo the motifs of crocheted doilies crafted by the diligent women of Lithuania, symbolizing the warmth of home and the country’s heritage. The ball is composed of 32 parts, featuring fragments from 8 different doilies. Although Lithuania has not yet stood out in world football and has been unable to build a National Stadium, this creation reminds us that even what seems impossible—like making a ball from wood and crocheted doilies—turns out to be possible. Here’s the proof!
