The Moku Dresser is a quiet nod to the artist that inspired me to start creating, George Nakashima. It features book-matched American walnut burr that wraps around the dresser hiding the 5 draws within. A stringline of ebony around the top just gives that subtle break between the burr and the solid. The handcut half lap dovetails join the sycamore and walnut together in perfect union. The burr has been specifically cut in order to try and reveal some of the images within, my personal favourite is the image of a lions head and mane on the front.
