This contrasting miniature console cabinet was made during an introductory cabinet making class at Palomar College. Solid walnut carcase with maple doors and drawers. The main carcase is stained with transtint dye and finished with lacquer & wax. The doors and drawers are finished with shellac & wax. The drawer pulls are hand carved. Door pulls are turned. The sliding doors are shiplapped panels connected together with locked rabbet battens on the top and bottom. The cabinet was completed in February 2025.
