This marquetry artwork, Melody of Serenity, (Dimensions: 77 × 76 cm) is crafted entirely from natural solid woods, each with a thickness of about 4–5 millimeters. No veneer, dyes, or artificial coloring were used — every tone and texture reflects the true character of the wood itself. The piece is composed of thousands of individually cut fragments, meticulously shaped and assembled over the course of several months. Using both a hand fret saw and a Carbotech scroll saw, each detail was carved with precision. To complete the work, the surface was polished multiple times, creating a smooth, refined finish that highlights the natural depth and warmth of the woods. The woods chosen include walnut, cherry, maple, ash, acacia, eucalyptus, and others — each bringing its own natural grain and color to the composition. Together, they form a harmonious palette that gives life to the artwork. Beyond its technical execution, this artwork holds a deeper meaning. The swans, gliding gracefully together across the water, embody serenity, unity, and the harmony of family. Just as each tiny wooden piece finds its place in the whole, the swans reflect the beauty of togetherness and the resilience found in love and connection.
