These two large-scale marquetry-faced barn doors (48 x 96” and 45 x 96”), were made for Agustina Rodriguez and Christopher Brown in Austin, TX. Inspired by the “edgeland” landscape surrounding the home and the architecture of the library/guest house where they're installed, the designs, taken from Christopher Brown‘s photography in the floodplain, explore ecological paradise in a light industrial brownfield.
