This Krenov-inspired whiskey cabinet started off as an experiment. I wanted to incorporate llight into a whiskey cabinet somehow. I really like the way shoji and kumiko panels play with light and create a soft atmosphere which seemed perfect for a whiskey cabinet. I also wanted a challenge which is where the Krenov inspiration comes in. It was fun project with a lot of great learnings and it looks great in my office.
