Nat Matthews, Inca Bedside Tables (CHESTS, CABINETS, SHELVING 2021)

The photographs are one of a set of matching bedside cabinets. The inspiration for the design came from Inca Architecture while travelling in South America. The dimensions is from an Inca window I measured in Bolivia. They are made from salvaged solid huon pine with Tasmanian blackwood inlays. The carcass is joined with compound half blind dovetails, as is the drawer. The drawer handle is a bent lamination of blackwood and huon pine. Dimensions are H65cm x W50cm x D50cm
