These two whatnots sit on our coffee table. Visitors inevitably stare at them, wondering what they are. Practical types always pick them up and ponder how they are made and assembled - this consumes much of their time. These whatnots are made from recycled Northern Rata (NZ) and Silky Oak (Aust) timber. They each took me over a day to make, requiring incredible accuracy and very sharp tools.
