'Gunnamatta' is a wall-mounted Tasmanian Blackwood cabinet with a sliding, Victorian Ash, tambour door. The cabinet is visually 'supported' by three perpendicular rails set in sliding dovetails to allow for seasonal movement. It features an asymmetrical design with an end display shelf for a plant, books etc. The Tasmanian Blackwood was salvaged from the bottom of Lake Pieman by the Hydrowood project, while the 'paddle' door handles are made from polished brass. The piece is wall-mounted using concealed french cleats and has an adjustable central shelf.
