This steel-string guitar is the first one I made independently after learning the craft. So far, guitar making is a hobby for me. I made this guitar as a gift for my wife. We both love the pattern on the back, which looks like a butterfly with its wings fully spread. During the making process, I found the most challenging part was applying the shellac paint. The entire painting process took a long time to finally achieve the glossy finish. I am still working on perfecting my guitar building skills and hope that I will have my professional workshop in the near future! Materials used- Top: Red Cedar Back and Sides: Bolivian Santos Rosewood Neck: Indian Rosewood Fretboard: Wenge
