I have a small woodworking shop where I make bespoke furniture with one hand as I lost my left arm in the 1980s. I try to make articles that would be difficult to make with two arms and the curved rails on this table were certainly a challenge. My Floating Top Console Table is made from Queensland Maple and Northern Brush Mahogany. The curved and straight rails on the front and back are made from both timbers and alternate from front to back. On one side the top curved rail is Maple and the bottom curved rail is Mahogany and on the other side they are reversed. The straight rails alternate from front to back as well and giving you two different looking tables in one. The legs are Northern Brush Mahogany and the table top is flame Queensland Maple. The table is 1000mm wide and 400mm deep and 900mm high. The build video for this table is available on my YouTube channel "One Handed Maker".
