Occasional Table 500mm high x 630mm diameter crafted from blackspot Jarrah and Rock Maple with tempered glass top. All joinery is triangular in formation. The "flower" is made from 3 separate laminated pieces that are glued together to form a triangular tenon that is then morticed into the legs to create a "hexagram" mortice and tenon joint. This bonds the flower petals and three legs together homogeneously to create an incredibly strong side grained singular interface. Each leg contains 11 tapered laminations that were slip matched during the gluing process to ensure the seamless continuity of the grain between laminations.
