This marquetry artwork is created entirely by hand using solid natural woods (4-5 mm thick), not veneers. The process begins by carefully selecting different species of timber for their natural colours and grains. Each piece of wood is cut precisely with a fine fretsaw and with a Carbatec scroll saw, then placed together like a puzzle, glued, and sanded multiple times until the surface becomes smooth and unified. The materials used include Walnut, Maple, Rosewood, Mahogany, Cherry, Beech, Ash, and more. No paint or artificial colour has been applied; all shades are the true, natural tones of the wood itself. The flowing forms and textures bring movement, passion, and freedom to life, showing how marquetry transforms raw timber into expressive art.
