These bowls are made from jelutong timber off cuts, built using a bricklayer pattern and turned into 400 mm spheres on the lathe. The sawdust produced from machining and turning the bowls was collected and treated into a composite material that was then moulded into bricks. Some of the bricks were dyed using eucalyptus leaves. The bricks can be disposed of organically.
