Bow Arm Morris Chair This chair is my first build, inspired by my love of classic Craftsman furniture. Constructed from reclaimed Rose Gum, it reflects both tradition and sustainability. The frame is joined using traditional mortise and tenon joinery, with special attention given to the through mortise and tenon in the curved armrests—an iconic detail that celebrates craftsmanship and precision. The chair is hand-finished with pure tung oil and wax, creating a lustrous surface that enhances the natural warmth and character of the timber while providing a tactile, enduring finish. A timeless piece rooted in the ideals of honesty and craftsmanship, this Morris chair represents both my respect for traditional design and my journey as a furniture maker.
