574 pieces "Blackjack" This piece was born at the meeting point of chance’s thrill and craftsmanship’s patience. Blackjack is a wooden symphony composed of 574 pieces. Blue-stained maple, black-stained maple, American poplar, padouk, and afromosia come together through the delicate language of marquetry. Each piece was shaped by hand over the course of four months; every grain and hue was a deliberate choice woven into the story of this table. The legs, crafted in a bow-tie form from the warm, deep tones of padouk, stand firmly on the ground. This form is not merely an aesthetic choice, but a symbol of both strength and elegance in the art of woodworking. Ash wood joints preserve the structural integrity of the table with invisible mastery—like hidden aces in a well-played hand. On the tabletop, the Jack of Clubs and the Ace of Hearts represent the most decisive moments in games of chance. The pairing of these two cards symbolizes a fleeting victory, a perfect move, and the courage to take risks. Every detail—from the shifts in color to the direction of the grain and the interplay of contrasts—reflects not only the natural soul of wood but also the psychology of the game.
