Tufan Aslan, Black Swan table (TABLES, CHAIRS, DESKS 2021 )

Hi Woodreview judges , my name is Tufan Aslan 46 yo Electronic Engineer, I have started woodworking since last year as a hobby, since than this piece is one of my finest item it is Bluegum table top with matte black resin. it took almost 3,5 months to complete. All termite paths has been cleaned by chisel and filled with resin and big cracks also added with maple tree branches. it is 5,5 cm thick and extremely heavy wood, bottom of the table also used 4 C-channel square box to eliminate further bend and sturdy support for antique sewing machine legs. Surface after resin application has been sanded from 40 grid to 1500 grid and Osmo oil has been also applied 3 coats to provide silky smooth surface and feelings Hope you are like it. regards.
