This chess table is made in Lithuania from black oak and maple. glued with Titebond III glue. The entire visible surface is coated with whitening Fiddes hard wax oil 2 times to make it look optically brighter. Then coated with colourless hard wax oil. The bottom of the table leg is soaked with Titebond Thin glue. The stabilized wood in this way will not split when standing on heated floors. The chessboard is glued 1 cm deep into the tabletop.
