He wasn't just my chief offcut chewer, safety officer, and workshop manager. He was my best mate. In memory of Artie Farty Medwell 8/7/2020-13/11/2024 And for all the shop dogs out there. Chew offcuts, not finished pieces. Keep woofing! Artie's was carved unplugged in huon pine. Bulked out with handsaw, axe, adze, veritas drawknife, and pfeil gouges. Detailed with pfeil hand and palm gouges. Scraped with pax mini scrapers and sanded. The base is rose mahogany. Drawknifed and scraped. Name plate huon, carved with pfeil palm gouges. Finsihed with oil/wax.
