Cabinets in a stand. Both the tambour upper cabinet and the lower drawer chest are of madrone, while the stand is of walnut. The upper cabinet is a doweled construction with shop-sawn veneers. The lower cabinet is solid and features nutmeg drawer bottoms. Brass pulls were shaped and bent by hand. Designed to store seeds in jars in the upper cabinet and in packets in the lower cabinet. The goal of this project was to emphasize the importance of seed saving, sovereignty, and diversity.
