Woodworking with friends in Melbourne is back

Comments Comments

Machines are whirring, shavings flying and even drums are beating as students of fine woodworking are once more able to gather in Melbourne to attend classes and develop their skills. Since the 111 day lockdown Melbourne has now recorded 30 days with no new COVID-19 cases meaning classes for some can resume.

A short video recorded at the Melbourne Guild of Fine Woodworking captures some of the recent action. Look carefully and you’ll see a variety of processes as well as some familiar faces, including that of Simeon Dux, AWR Maker of the Year overall winner.
