Visionaries exhibition to highlight work of 50 artist makers
Visionaries is Craft’s flagship exhibition series, designed to create meaningful pathways between Australia’s exceptional makers and the wider worlds of design, culture and everyday life.
In 2026, the exhibition will showcase more than 50 Australian makers and artists, celebrating a bold and playful approach to living with craft. ‘Part exhibition, part dream home, part love letter to Australian makers. I want it to feel joyful, immersive and impossible to leave uninspired,’ says Tali Roth.
Developed to bridge the gap between exhibiting artists and meaningful real‑world opportunities, Visionaries extends creative practice beyond the gallery space. The series is designed to strengthen the cultural and creative ecosystem through a generative approach that supports and sustains Australian art, craft and design into the future.
The exhibition opens 12 November and runs until 6 February 2027 at Craft, Watson Place (off Flinders Lane), Naarm/Melbourne.
