How a small family operation that makes totally handcrafted items can remain commercially viable for 160 years is somewhat of a conundrum. In fact it’s all about drums in this video that shows the process of Noble & Cooley, a US family business established in 1854 and ‘still standing’ as the oldest drum factory in the USA. From log to high-end snare drum, this Massachusetts company is operated by a father and son duo who say, “We decided at the forefront this world does not need another mediocre product.”
