Vale Khai Liew, renowned South Australian designer

Sad news arrived yesterday, December 11, 2023 of the death of Khai Liew, South Australian furniture designer at the age of 71. Khai Liew’s work may be seen in numerous public collections, including the Art Gallery of South Australia, the National Gallery of Australia, Powerhouse Museum, and the Art Gallery of Western Australia.

Khai Liew mentored and employed many other craftspeople in his workshop. We extend our condolences to his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by many.
