Held on February 22, Traditional Tools Group's 2015 Tool Sale was its biggest yet, in terms of both traders and buyers. Over 400 people attended the one-day event and were met with a huge array of tools as well as other items of interest.
Over sixty tables were rented to those with items to sell, while an additional ten tables were provided to not-for-profit community organisations.
'A new feature of the 2015 Tool Sale was a door prize raffle at the end of the sale', said TTTG President, Bob Crosbie. 'The prize, a Stanley 80 scraper, found a good home. And this year the sellers stayed until the end and there were no disappointed latecomers.'
In their plans for next year's event, Bob commented, 'The TTTG Committee has reviewed the way entry tickets are sold, and next year the 9am crowd will find they can get in sooner and start buying! In 2016 the aim is to increase the number of trading tables to over 70, and visitor entry will remain at $5.'
The 2016 Tool Sale will take place on February 28 at the same venue: Brickpit Sports Stadium, 1a Dartford Road, Thornleigh, NSW.
