Dave ‘Tripple D’ De Witt has taken sustainable design and making to a whole level. Every part of part of his manufacturing process considers the environment. Repurposed and shopmade tools are used to craft no longer used skateboards into a range of trendy looking sunglasses.
A couple of years ago Dave, originally a carpenter, decided to make himself a pair of sunglass frames and ended up producing a range that is now regularly seen in fashion mags and on catwalks. ‘Some things just work out if you follow your heart and believe in what you’re doing’, says Dave.
