First released in Australia in May, 2014, Arbortech's new Random Contour Sander is company founder Kevin Inkster's final solution to a problem that has been bugging him for years. Having tried all the power options for sanding carved and undulating surfaces, Inkster has invented what is being hailed as a mini revolution, and a random one at that.

Orbital sanders are a favourite power tool for woodworkers as they sand smooth with a minimal swirl or trace. Arbortech's new tool is an attachment that fits to an angle grinder after the appropriate grit abrasive has been attached. The pads flex on edges and mould to the surface to be sanded. Simple and highly effective. Check out the video below that shows the tool in use, and how to fit the attachment. See more info at www.arbortech.com.au
