Registrations are now open for the National Gallery of Victoria and Stylecraft's Australian Furniture Design Award.

Now in its fifth year, the Australian Furniture Design Award celebrates innovative furniture and lighting design, with particular emphasis on new ideas, critical and creative thinking, sustainability, material development and groundbreaking research into production processes.

From the entries received in stage one, shortlisted entrants will be invited to stage two to present their realised designs at the Stylecraft showroom during Melbourne Design Week 2024.

The winning designer will receive a $20,000 cash prize, an invitation to develop a commercial range or product with Stylecraft and the opportunity to participate in a two-week professional development residency at JamFactory, Adelaide.

From the entries received, a shortlist of entrants will be invited to proceed to Stage Two and present their realised designs for exhibition and judging at the Stylecraft showroom during Melbourne Design Week 2024.
