Ironbark, Tasmanian oak, lift top mechanism, soft close drawer runners

450mm H x 1200mm W x 700mm D

My coffee table is a leg and rail style coffee table, incorporating floating panels and also a lift-up top. The main construction is made from ironbark cut from my own property, using mortise and tenon joints to joint the legs and rails. All the other ironbark joint where domino joints. I used the Tasmanian oak for the floating panels and drawers. There drawers have through dovetail joints and a false fronts. The four floating panels and two drawer fronts have raised panel edges to give the table a more elegant look. The lift top is designed to be used while sitting at the lounge and for storage underneath.
