Extending Dining Table

Extends to 2600mm and 3100mm in length
I went out to design a table that would only extend out on one end so that it could be put against a wall and not need to be moved. There were no designs or plans anywhere for a table with this design so I had to come up with everything myself.
I wanted the table to have a modern bold look and bring out the natural character of the wood. The table needed to suit a family of eight without an extension and extend to 10 and then 12 to sit everyone around. This table was made for my year 12 major work.
