Now in their 23rd year, the Australian Timber Design Awards aim to promote and encourage outstanding timber design.

The Awards are open to builders, designers, architects, engineers and landscapers: to anyone involved in the design or building of structures that feature timber. A Rising Star Award is available to students and entrants aged 35 or under. Registration into the competition is free, but active participation requires payment of a processing fee. Entries close July 29, 2022.

The key event for the Australian Timber Design Awards calendar is its annual Presentation Night/Dinner. This event is graced by the timber industry government representatives, timber industry business affiliates, timber design and community members, and it's where winning projects are made public and trophies are presented to the respective designers by the Awards sponsors. The Awards celebration will be held as an in-person showcase in Sydney, in late November 2022.

Now is the time to get your entries in, to show the industry how your project, big or small, sculptural or structural, has used timber simply, beautifully or creatively. Entry instructions are at this link.
