The timber for this clock came from a large red cedar tree that was growing at the school, which was blown over during Cyclone Yasi. The timber was milled into slabs at the school, and then as part of our course, the slabs were dressed to the finished sizes to use in this project.
The table is constructed using mortise and tenon joints for the frame and legs, and mitre joints for the top. There is a rebate cut into the top for the glass to sit in
