From March 14 to 31, West Australian wood artist and furniture maker Neil Turner will present a diverse body of new work in an exhibition entitled Coelesce at Linton and Kay Galleries in Perth.
'Coalesce means to combine and form one whole', said Neil. 'This exhibition is about combining a mixture of influences over my lifetime, drawing my thoughts and ideas into a manifestation of reality.'
In 2012 Neil was chosen to exhibit as the South West Showcase artist at Bunbury Regional Art Galleries. Following this, Linton and Kay Galleries in Perth invited Neil to exhibit. The 17 pieces to be shown were created over a 12 month period and include turned and carved sculptures as well as furniture.
Linton and Kay Galleries are located at The Old Perth Technical School, Level 1, 137 St Georges Tce, Perth. See a preview of the work presented here.
Neil Turner was profiled in Australian Wood Review issue 78 (March 2013), and has written for the magazine as well.
