The reason I created and designed the chest of drawers was to solve my problem of not having enough room in my old chest of drawers to fit all my clothes in. Its secondary function is to also have somewhere to put my TV and Xbox which was considered in the designing and research before constructing the product. The chest of drawers is unique because there are gaps in the side, this was done to be more environmentally sustainable (lessen timber usage) and also show the dovetail joints in the drawers which gives the chest improved aesthetics.
