Call for entry: Craft ACT member exhibition

From 29 October to 12 December 2020, c/o (Care of) Craft ACT: 2020 Annual Members exhibition will showcase current trends in contemporary craft and design and illustrate how care underpins a maker’s commitments. Craft ACT Accredited Professional Members and Associate Members are invited to submit proposed works for inclusion.

In line with the theme of the 7th edition of DESIGN Canberra (November 9–29, 2020), the 2020 Craft ACT members exhibition will celebrate and explore the ways that care and caring is valuable and vital for contemporary craft practitioners, artists, designers and makers.

The theme of care is broadly defined and may include work which reflects how makers forge new relationships to materials;
invest time to learn and develop techniques, skill and practice; pay respect to craft’s tradition of exchange, mentoring and collaboration; nourish and sustain collective wellbeing.

The deadline for submissions is 31, July, 2020.
