Tate Harland, Hallway table (STUDENT 2021)

This hallway table has been crafted from Tasmanian Blackwood. It holds elegant and intricate curves in conjunction with sleek sharp lines. The projects main components are; its floating table top design, sitting atop six brass dowels. Its laminated curved rail design, central draw box running parallel with the curved rail and the bottom table. The intricate details include; the brass dowels joining the curved rails to the legs and the table bottom to the horizontal rails, the router curved leg bases, the inner rail design and the felted draw box. The project was finished with a wipe on poly giving the Blackwood a deep shine.
