After a long 4-year wait, the Australian Wooden Boat Festival is once again set to sail into our horizon.

The Festival revolves around a simple theme – the beauty of wooden boats, their promise of adventure, leisure and comradery and their history of fine craftsmanship.

From February 10 to 13 massive tall ships will line Hobart’s wharfs, and a universe of tightly packed vessels will festoon Hobart's waterfront while a panoply of wooden boats will grace the River Derwent.

At the festival site, visitors will enjoy a feast of displays, symposiums, workshops and activities, not to mention entertainment and street foods. A range of commercial exhibitors will also be present including "premium exhibitors" Boatcraft Pacific and Japanese Tools Australia.

It's a massive festival with a huge program of events and participants.
